It's less than one month left until we meet our Immortal hordes Down Under, and in addition to the shows, we have scheduled signing sessions in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. See you all there!
In August, we will finally see our Immortal hordes in Russia for the first time.
The dates will be Moscow (August 29th) and St. Petersburg (August 30th).
It's still a while, but we're finally coming, and we're looking forward to these shows!

IMMORTAL TO HEADLINE ROCK HARD FESTIVAL 2008 - September 28, 2007
After the 7 Dates Of
Blashyrkh, and our return to home shores at the Hole In The Sky Festival,
we still have 2 remaining dates in Norway this fall before we concentrate
on the next studio album. Tickets for both the Notodden and Trondheim shows
are available now.
We are already preparing for the activities next year, and we can today announce
that we will headline next years's edition of the Rock
Hard Festival in Germany. The festival takes place May 9-11, 2008 in the
Gelsenkirchen Amphitheatre. This will be the first opportunity to see the
band live in Germany in 2008.

IMMORTAL ANNOUNCES 3 EXCLUSIVE SHOWS FOR NORWAY 2007 - August 12, 2007
After the 7 Dates of Blashyrkh
have come to an end with a triumphant performance at Wacken Open Air, Immortal
announces 3 final shows exclusively for Norway in 2007, before the band starts
concentrating on the long-awaited next studio album. Immortal will headline
the "Hole In The Sky"
festival in Bergen on August the 25th. This will be the first show in their
hometown in seven years! October 6th, the band will headline the Motstøy-festival
in Notodden, which is open even for those under 18, and October 20th, the
band will play their first ever show in Trondheim, during UKA-07.

Needless to say; Hole in the Sky is immensely proud to present Immortal
as this year’s headliner. Immortal were the band that kicked of the first
Hole in the Sky festival seven years back, and their return to the festival
stage is bound to be something out of the ordinary. Not only is Immortal one
of the most influential acts to emerge out of the Norwegian metal scene, but
they are also one of the most explosive live bands around.
Fans from all over the world sighed with relief when Immortal announced the
“7 Dates of Blashyrkh” tour a few months back, seeing the trio headlining
massive festivals such as Wacken Open Air after spending the last four
years in hiatus.
The organizers were thrilled when the band decided to do this special event
on home turf as a bonus to the already announced tour.
Comments Demonaz: "It’s been seven years since Immortal played in
Bergen and we look forward to return home with a vengeance. Bergen is of course
very special for us, after all it’s our home town. Immortal will do a very
special show that will be nothing short of spectacular. The band has planned
to do songs from all their albums, including some rare gems for this concert
only. Hole in the Sky has become a very important festival over the years

The Inferno Festival is
being held for the seventh time and is teaming up with the Norwegian edition
of MTV's Headbangers' Ball!!
Two full programs will be dedicated to Inferno Festival, and the first show,
Inferno Vorspiel will be broadcast on 1 April at 22:00 on MTV Norway.
Joining Pete in the studio is this year's top headliner, Immortal!!
Following a solid break, Immortal has decided to enter the battlefield again
and will be doing their first comeback concert at this year's Inferno!
Headbangers Ball's Inferno Vorspiel will also be shown on big screen at Inferno

Some months have passed since we announced our reunion shows and we would
like to say thanks for all the fantastic feedback we have received.
Abbath and Apollyon rehearsed
together last weekend, and with Horgh just back from the US, we will start
with full band rehearsals in January.
Our first gig will be the Inferno Festival in Norway, and during the summer,
we will play the confirmed shows in France, Finland, USA, Slovenia and Germany.
We wish you all the best for now, and can’t wait to finally perform for you

year: June 22-24, another installment of the mighty Hellfest will be held,
and IMMORTAL will co-headline the mainstage during the weekend.
“France has always been an important country for IMMORTAL, and we’re looking
forward to finally meeting our dedicated French fans again”, Abbath and Horgh
state.
This will be IMMORTAL’s only concert in France for 2007.

Norway’s IMMORTAL disbanded in 2003, after 13 successful years as one of the pioneers of metal. After a solid break, the band has decided to enter the battlefield again, and what better way to do so than performing a few selected, exclusive concert appearances?
"I needed a break," Abbath says. "I think we all did!" We were simply burnt out, and there was no point in continuing. We had a Norwegian tour booked, and had performed at some great festivals both in the US and Europe, but it just didn’t feel right any longer."
In the meantime, drummer
Horgh has released the “Virus” album and toured with Sweden’s death metal
masters, Hypocrisy, and Abbath has been working on his sideproject, I, featuring
members of Enslaved and Sahg, and the return of Immortal’s original drummer,
Armagedda.
"I’m really proud of that album," Abbath states enthusiastically,
"and it was an important album to make, in order to be able to focus
on Immortal again."
Come 2007, the world
will see a new ferocious lineup of IMMORTAL, featuring Apollyon from Aura
Noir. During Easter the fans will finally get to see the new IMMORTAL live
again, headlining the 7th edition of Norway’s Inferno Festival.
"It will be a great show in front of a good mixture of Norwegian fans
and people from all over the world. It will be a very special show!"
Abbath assures.

Reunited IMMORTAL To Headline Next Year's WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival - July 11, 2006
Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL will reunite for several exclusive shows next year, including the Wacken Open Air festival, which is scheduled to take place August 2-4, 2007 in Wacken, Germany.
A statement from the band reads as follows:
"IMMORTAL are proud to announce that we will headline Wacken in 2007. This will be part of a few selected exclusive shows next year, and Wacken will be the only show in Germany." In a recent interview with Germany's Rock Hard magazine IMMORTAL frontman Abbath — who is in the studio recording the debut album from his new project I — said of the band's reunion plans, "We will come back, stronger than ever. I [recently] met with Horgh [ex-IMMORTAL drummer, curently in HYPOCRISY] for the first time in over a year. He's built his new house here [in Norway], right around the corner. In the next few days we will begin to rehearse our old Blizzard Beasts [1997] classics. I'm already really [excited about] the idea."
Responding to a question about possible accusations that IMMORTAL would only be reuniting to cash in on their former glories, Abbath said, "To clear that up: we're not coming back for the money. If we had been only interested in the cash, we wouldn't have allowed IMMORTAL to split in the first place."
In addition to Abbath, I's current lineup includes original IMMORTAL drummer Armagedda, ENSLAVED guitarist Arve Isdal and GORGOROTH bassist King ov Hell. The band's debut album, which will feature lyrics written primarily by former IMMORTAL guitarist Demonaz, is scheduled for release in November via Nuclear Blast Records.
